Ahora mismo Wikileaks está siendo ciberatacada, y cambiando su alojamiento, basculando sus datos de un lugar a otro de “la nube” para evitar problemas.. No sabemos lo que durarán esos documentos en la red, bien por via cibernética, o bien por via judicial.. pero deberían de repetirse otros wikileaks antes que los de siempre pongan las puertas al campo. Hay mucho por esclarecer, mucho por aclarar, y mucha verdad por enseñar.

Hace 20 años, Alvin Tofler ya lo describía en “Las Guerras del Futuro”, las naciones tendrán que prepararse para ciberguerras, ciberataques que intenten socavar las bases sobre la que la actual sociedad se asienta.

La información, y mas allá, la transparencia en la información es una de las utopías que la red hacía realidad. Por supuesto, surgía un nuevo peligro, ¿que era verdad y que era rumor o fake? Gracias al nacimiento de la web2.0, todos podemos opinar y consultar.. y si bien es cierto que se puede engañar a mucha gente durante un tiempo, no se puede engañar a todo el mundo toda la vida.

Y ahora, con el caso wikileaks se ha hecho realidad. Nos gusten o no, las consecuencias de esta “filtración” de información tan importante y esclarecedora para muchos paises, son inciertas e inquietantes para el nuevo panorama mundial cada vez mas orientado hacia Asia.

Lo cierto es que una vez mas la red cumple la utopia con la que muchos la veiamos en los años 90., organizaciones como la Wikipedia y Electronic Free Foundation eran algunos de sus principales exponentes defensores del poder de la red para educar, informar, y de alguna manera liberar a la humanidad. Tambien Google, hasta que fue privatizada, y que por mucho que esta empresa rece con el lema “DONT BE EVIL” ahora ha sido capitalizada por los mercados, con todo lo que esto significa.

Wikileaks está revolucionando la red en el mas estricto término de “revolución”, no solo el periodismo del futuro (o del presente) .  Y sin embargo, con medio mundo persiguiendo a sus principales cabezas visibles, existe un gran riesgo.. que se avecina a medida que la crisis global (bueno.. la crisis occidental) poco a poco va convirtiendo a los ciudadanos en personas mas temerosas y conservadoras. Los gobiernos van a tender a la derecha en los próximos años, favoreciendo que la red pierda su neutralidad acosados por los intereses de las grandes empresas. De hecho, estas empresas, son los próximos objetivos de wikileaks: bancos, operadoras, energéticas,….
