Ciberdemocracia es la introducción de las tecnologías de la información y de la comunicación al ámbito de la política ha bautizado una serie de términos que se utilizan indistintamente por los analistas sin que exista un consenso en cuanto a sus conceptos. Entre las expresiones más frecuentes figuran “democracia digital”, “democracia electrónica”, “ciberdemocracia”, entre otras.

Creo que este significado se queda bastante corto. Para mi es mas acertado el que indican en el parrafo: “..aquel modelo de Democracia que permite la participación cotidiana y directa de los ciudadanos en la toma de las decisiones de naturaleza pública a través de redes de información y comunicaciones automatizadas..” .

Esto me parece mas acertado y mas cercano. La ciberdemocracia no es una forma de facilitar las labores burocráticas a los procesos democráticos como algunos nos intentan hacer ver.. los fariseos intentos de ostentar la paternidad de actitudes ciberdemocráticas por muy progresistas o conservadoras que sean sus fuentes, siguen siendo eso.. fariseos y patéticos intentos. O siendo mas benevolentes.. quizás solo es ignorancia supina.

La verdadera ciberdemocracia no aparecerá hasta que la actual clase política actual cambie o desaparezca para dejar paso a la evolución de las agoras griegas ampliadas gracias a las capacidades amplificadoras de las nuevas tecnologias. Algunos intentos ya se están desarrollando en pequeños municipios, pero el reto es hacerlo cambiando los pilares de una sociedad. Es interesante lo que comenta Jose A. del Moral en su blog.

Para las brasileñas Deisy de Freitas Lima, Vanesa Wendt y Clarissa Francio (2003) la “ciberdemocracia” es una nueva perspectiva de implantación de los principios de participación y abertura, aunque matizan que “debido a la escasez de material sobre ciberdemocracia, no hay un significado exacto para este término” (9) .

O sea que al fina se trata de una herramienta que permitirá pasar de una democracía representativa, o la mejor de las “dictablandas” conocidas, a una democracía participativa. O lo que yo creo que podriamos interpretar como la mas cercana perfección del concepto democrático la democracía, sin embargo para llegar a ese punto.. cuanto ha de madurar nuestra sociedad.. hemos de renunciar a muchos “vicios” inherentes en el ser humano: ambición, egoismo, egocentrismo y afan de poder.

Si conseguimos enfocar nuestras mentes en elúnico objetivo,que el bien comun es el camino para el bien individual, conseguiremos entrar en una democracia participativa quasi ideal.. sino.. corremos el riesgo de podernos encontranos con mas control sutil de los oligarcas habituales (constructores,bancos, clase empresarial y funcionarial, y clase política actual..) incluso los tecnocratas o la nueva clase dominante que se está creando, los netócratas, podrían encontrarse de nuevo con la tirania de la mayoria, un peligro invisible en las democracias.
